Prior to joining the Kombat Arts Training Academy , Ryan Seeriram’s
main athletic focus was soccer and swimming. Looking for a
bit of change however, he did his research and found Kombat Arts.
Although Ryan had never dabbled in martial arts before he
found the atmosphere at Kombat Arts to be “pleasant
and friendly”, “while at the same time maintaining
a high professional standard of training.”
What does he like best? “You can train at your own
pace; recreationally, professionally or just to maintain conditioning.”
We’ve seen Ryan come a long way since he started! Huge
improvements have been made in the areas of Conditioning and
Muay Thai Kick Boxing. In Ryan’s own words he feels
that he has gained an “increased level of conditioning
and fitness that could not have been easily achieved by just
going to a regular gym.”
His Conditioning coach Linda says, “Ryan is a pleasure
to have in any class. Students like him, make it all worth
while! And it’s great to see how far he’s come
in his training.”
Ryan’s advice for others thinking of coming in and
trying us out, “Just try it! It’s an investment
of time and money that is essential to a healthy work/life
program. Work hard, play hard!” We’re certainly
glad he does that at Kombat Arts.
