two of our fighters. Jackie Jachna was victorious in giving
her opponent 2 standing 8 counts in the 2nd round and Nenad
Cvejic lost to a rather dubious decision that left the crowd
in confusion and disappointment. Decision aside Nenad fought
very well and we look forward to seeing him fight on our future
shows. Awesome fights guys and congratulations to both of
you!

on November 18. Sly performed very well, demonstrating great
technique and sportsmanship, winning over many new fans and

RAVEN in Vancouver
Our very own Linda
de los Reyes of RAVEN
Self Defense was also in Vancouver, teaching a Level 1
Self Defense course at KB-1 to a class of 25-30 women. The
course concentrated on verbal tactics, legalities, awareness
and avoidance skills, proper mind setting, and finally techniques
to gain escape. This class was very well received and at the
end of the course many females approached Linda thanking her
for a great course, some even stating how “it changed
their lives,” and how they will be looking forward to
her return when she will be teaching a level 1 and 2 course.
Great work Linda, we all know how passionate you are of the
martial arts, especially the self defense aspect, and it truly
shows in your world class seminars.

Congrats to our Canadian team!
