WHY THE NEED?

Personal safety should be the main reason for ensuring that your personnel are properly trained. You need to give your officers the confidence to carry out their duties and give them the tools to ensure that each situation is handled in such a way that no harm comes to themselves or their subject. Proper training will also minimize the risks that are common to the security industry ~ civil and/or criminal litigation.

Providing the proper training for your personnel demonstrates that you are a responsible organization to work for and with. Both employees and your clients will have a positive view of your organization. With many more security-type companies cropping up, maintaining a responsible reputation can easily set you apart from the competition.

One civil litigation suit can easily be more expensive than the cost of properly trained staff. It should also be remembered that the Occupational Health and Safety Act requires companies to ensure employees are properly trained.
